Once exposed to the air, ground coffee quickly loses its flavour and aroma. The vacuum pump simply extracts the air from the Vacuum Coffee Saver creating a vacuum, so that flavour and aroma of the coffee will be kept in perfect condition.

Q: Is it important to frequently clean the container?

A: Yes,this has to be done to prevent powdered food entering the stopper and influencing the vacuum seal. The containers can be easily dismantled for cleaning purposes.

Q: The filter cap of the Food Saver lid does not come off. How can I remove it?


A:The filter cap can be easily removed with warm water due to the created temperature difference.

Q: When do I know the optimal vacuum is reached?

A: When resistance is felt with an upward stroke, the lid is vacuum sealed.

Q: I prefer using fresh grinded coffee beans. Are they vacuum proof?

A: Yes, fresh grinded coffee should stay under vacuum.

Q: Can I store roasted coffee beans under vacuum?

A: No, the natural fermentation process of the beans create a gas pressure that will cause the Coffee Saver to release the vacuum. This will also occur when storing yeast under vacuum.
