I have yet to encounter a wine that requires less aeration, and, though I have sampled many many wines, thought perhaps I was not experienced enough. So I asked a certified wine educator. She had never encountered a wine in need of this, either. It would make a good gift for an effete wine snob who would never admit to having no use for it.But I couldn't find a use for it.

It really helps my not so expensive wine taste more expensive. It also helps to control the pour, I think.
