Shipping policy

 

Article 1 - Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • Return period: the period during which the consumer can exercise their return rights.
  • Consumer: a natural person not acting for purposes related to their trade, business, craft, or profession.
  • Day: a calendar day.
  • Digital content: data produced and supplied in digital form.
  • Durable medium: any means, including email, that allows the consumer or trader to store information personally addressed to them in a way that makes future reference or use possible for a period of time suited to the purpose of the information, and that allows unchanged reproduction of the stored information.
  • Return rights: the consumer’s option to cancel a distance contract within the return period.
  • Vacu Vin: Vacu Vin B.V.
  • Distance contract: a contract between Vacu Vin and the consumer concluded under an organized system for the distance sale of products, whereby, up to and including the conclusion of the contract, exclusive or partial use is made of one or more means of distance communication.
  • Model withdrawal form: the European model withdrawal form available on the Vacu Vin website.
  • Means of distance communication: a tool that can be used to conclude a contract without the consumer and Vacu Vin having to be in the same space at the same time.

Article 13 - Delivery and Execution

  1. Vacu Vin will exercise the greatest possible care when receiving and executing product orders.
  2. The place of delivery is the address that the consumer has provided to Vacu Vin.
  3. In accordance with what is stated in Article 4 of these general terms and conditions, Vacu Vin will execute accepted orders with due speed, but no later than 30 days, unless a different delivery period has been agreed upon. If delivery is delayed, or if an order cannot be fulfilled or can only be partially fulfilled, the consumer will be informed of this no later than 30 days after placing the order. In that case, the consumer has the right to terminate the contract at no cost and is entitled to any applicable compensation.
  4. Following the termination as per the previous paragraph, Vacu Vin will promptly refund any amount paid by the consumer.
  5. The risk of damage and/or loss of products remains with Vacu Vin until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a representative previously designated and notified to Vacu Vin, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
