The glass body of the decanter is extremely thin-walled and finely crafted. And fits perfectly into the rotating floor tray, in the middle of which — for centering — a metal dome is embedded. The nice thing about the whole thing is that the decanter itself is slightly eccentrically shaped and as soon as you set the base plate in motion, the whole thing gets a slightly “non-round” turn. But that is exactly what is desired. The wine is evenly ventilated without being “shaken through”. The rotating plate embedded in the bottom of the bowl is ball bearings and is absolutely noiseless — and vibration-free. The smooth and precise shooting behavior is very easy to see in the video.
