I've only had basic wine stoppers before, but I've been wanting something like this vacuum stopper for a while. It helps to remove the oxygen so the wine stays fresher longer. This item is easy to use and works as expected. It comes with directions that are easy to follow. For example, it tells you how many times to pump the vacuum based on how full the wine bottle is. It also explains how to easily reduce the suction and remove the stopper when you want to drink more of your chosen wine. It's also a sustainable option-- it's made from mostly recycled plastic. Very happy with the product.

A great gift for the wine lover in your life! This is the perfect gift for the wine loving person (or people) who have everything they need - because they didn't know they needed one. My parents are just these people- and are very difficult to buy gifts for. I usually opt for a nice bottle of wine and a restaurant gift certificate, but I wanted to get them something different this year. I've used the vacuvin system before while bartending at a fine dining Italian restaurant, and thought my parents would appreciate it. Recieved the photo above a couple of weeks after Christmas with the text "most used Christmas gift so far - we love it!!

We have been using Vacu Vin wine savers for many years now. We enjoy good wine, but never finish a bottle in one or two sittings. The Vacu Vin has allowed us to enjoy wines longer, and never waste an open bottle. We have a couple different versions, and have given some as gifts to friends and family who are wine lovers. To their credit, the company continues to innovate. The biggest innovation with this model is that it is made from 98% recycled plastic. It works very well, and is compatible with the original stoppers. It's also nice to see other color options than black. The tradeoff is price: to be more environmentally responsible means this cost a bit more than the classic version. The photos compare the two models.

This is a very cleaver design that actually does keep wine fresh. It’s very easy to use. You use the device to pump the air out of the bottle. This keeps the wine fresh. It comes with very simple directions that are easy to do. The wine saver is a made from recycled materials. It’s well made.
