During a birthday party in 1984, two Dutch brothers, one a wine trader and the other a developer, were disappointed by the taste of their wine that had lost its flavor overnight. This frustration led to the invention of the very first Wine Saver in 1986, utilizing vacuum technology. Today, the Vacu Vin Wine Saver is found in over 40 million households worldwide, extending the enjoyment of opened wine.
